Why Armenia
Armenia is a small mountain country in the Caucasus with some of the oldest churches in the world. Monasteries sit on cliffs and in gorges, and Mount Ararat fills the skyline from Yerevan. It is affordable, safe and easy to combine with Georgia.
Visa for Indians
Indian citizens apply for the Armenian eVisa online. The visa for up to 21 days costs about US$7 and for up to 120 days about US$31, with approval in a few working days. Rules checked in October 2026.
Getting there
Flights from India to Yerevan connect once, usually through Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi or Doha. Allow seven to ten hours.
