Our Story

For nineteen years and more, families have trusted a small house in Delhi with the journeys they go on to remember for the rest of their lives.

I.

Our Story

It began in 2007, in a modest office in Sector 2, Rohini, with a telephone, a ledger and a single promise to every family who came through the door: that their journey would be looked after as carefully as if it were our own.

In those first years we issued train and air tickets. Slowly, the families who came for tickets began to trust us with more. A houseboat on Dal Lake for a couple’s first anniversary. A driver who knew the road to Kedarnath, for a father keeping a vow he had made long ago. A quiet hotel in the hills for grandparents travelling together one more summer. We learnt early that a holiday is rarely only a holiday. It is a promise made to someone you love.

Nineteen years on, the map has grown from the Himalaya to the backwaters of Kerala, the islands of the Andaman Sea, the North East, Nepal and Bhutan, and the old cities of Europe and the Silk Road. Children who first travelled with us on their parents’ laps now come to us to plan their own honeymoons. The office, the telephone number and the manner have stayed the same.

We have never wished to be the largest travel house in the city. Only the one that families return to, and the one they recommend to the people dearest to them.

Every journey we arrange is, at heart, a letter of trust. We have spent nineteen years learning to deserve it.

What we arrange

i.Holidays in IndiaPrivate itineraries across the Himalaya, Rajasthan, Kerala, Goa and the islands, with hotels, vehicles and permits in place before you leave.
ii.Holidays abroadNepal, Bhutan, Dubai, South-East Asia, Japan, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Mauritius, Central Asia, Turkey, Egypt and Europe, with hotels, transfers and visa papers arranged. Flights are booked at actual cost on request.
iii.PilgrimagesChar Dham, Vaishno Devi, Tirupati, Shirdi, Kashi, Ayodhya and Muktinath, with registrations, darshan tickets and helicopter seats booked ahead.
iv.Tickets, hotels and visasAir, rail and bus tickets, hotel reservations and visa papers, for travellers who need only part of a journey arranged.

How we work

i.One planner throughoutThe person who drafts your itinerary is the person you call from the road, and the person who calls you when you are home.
ii.Everything in writing firstBefore anything is paid, you receive the day-wise plan, the hotels by name and a plain list of what is and is not included.
iii.Your own car and driverEvery journey in India travels in a private vehicle with a driver who knows the roads, the passes and the weather that closes them.
iv.Straightforward accountsEvery booking is confirmed in writing, settled with Agrima Holidays Private Limited and invoiced in full.
